Pay per Click marketing using Google Adwords can be one the easiest ways to get quality traffic to your site, be it any topic, theme or market.  Google Adwords promises big revenue pay outs and it can deliver them – if you know know to optimize your accounts. However, taking the wrong steps could lead to the total loss of your entire advertising budget.  Both some hard work and a time commitment will be required of it in order to make PPC marketing beneficial.

It will be important to understand what works, so you will need to do some intensive testing to tailor your marketing plan. Once you’ve got a profitable campaign, you’ll need to keep a steady watch over it, and continue testing and optimizing it so that it stays profitable.  It need constant supervision so that you may reap the maximum benefits.  However, with time and a little guidance, you will be able to master the art of PPC, which means you would be able to drive targeted traffic at will.  In the following article we will cover the top three mistakes that you need to avoid when using Adwords for your marketing campaign.

1) Don’t Split Test

When you are starting out with Google Adwords, it’s very easy to lose your footing and make mistakes. When you are working on your own and trying so hard to make everything perfect, it’s easy to mistake a bad ad for something worthwhile. Keep in mind that it does not have to be perfect. On the internet, there are numerous people with web businesses who have made their businesses profitable. Knowing this, you can do some research and find out what your competition is doing. You want to find other marketers in your market who are placing successful ads.

You will know an ad is successful when it stays online for a couple of weeks or longer. If it was not bringing in money, the advertiser would have taken it off and replaced it. Remember, you do not want to simply copy the ad. You want to tweak it, so it meets you personality and needs. Doing so allows you to be successful without reinventing the wheel. It allows you to start converting visitors to sales.

2) Bad Keyword Targeting

Google’s Content Network is a network made up of other sites where Google’s ads are also displayed.  These sites aren’t guaranteed to be targeted towards your topic and could be AdSense based, where the information isn’t relevant or has other competing products that can prove to be a distraction.  How does this affect your campaign? Keep in mind that this method is a high risk that may mean lots of spending and very little return. In addition, these ads are difficult to track.  Your best best is to turn off the Content Network option, and use your Google Adwords PPC marketing campaign only on Google and its partner sites, where you have an advantage. The Content Network does have it’s benefits, but it is a whole other universe with different rules.

3. No Landing Page on Your Site

It is not unusual for new Adwords users to get overexcited and jump the gun without weighing the consequences of their actions. When newbies look at their projected numbers and realize their ad will generate 10,000 visitors in a month, they calculate their earnings then and there. Unfortunately, they fail to calculate the conversion rate of these visitors. The traffic has to convert.  The only way to accomplish this is to start off with a small amount of traffic, and then grow as the number of conversions grow. Using this type of method, you can maximize your earnings from PPC marketing and Adwords.

The name of PPC or pay-per-click comes from the concept that lies at the basis of the process: ads with relevant keywords are displayed on web sites, on search engine result pages or as an integrated part of web page content.

Every click costs one money, therefore, the majority of clicks have to result in transactions in order to be functional. The best keywords used to optimize such ads can rise up to $30 or even $50 per click, which is is expensive considering regular advertising budgets.

Google Adwords is the pay per click advertising program with the highest bids. Are you also as much tired as me with all the ‘guru’ product launches on the web that happen these days? AffiloBlueprint however, was not a time waster.

Let’s start talking about what AffiloBlueprint really is. Made by Super-Affiliate Mark Ling and his Affilorama team, Affilo Blueprint claims to be a complete system for building profitable affiliate sites. In the first release of the course last year, Mark Ling actually has been using this formula to build a website in front of a live crowd – a site that in turn ended up earning $500 per month in profits! In this new release, Mark Ling does use this same methodology, but with a better format and more complete lessons.

What exactly is this ‘formula’? The full concept of Affilo Blueprint is that you are able to create multiple websites, in any viable niche you like, by using the same process over and over again. This means you can create a whole bunch of small $50 per week websites, and then just make up your earnings by making an empire of sites. After that, as Mark Ling describes, if you reinvest some of that money back into the sites in the way of setting up content and SEO campaigns, you can very fast accelerate your earnings into the thousands a week – just by beginning with a few $50 a week sites. This is truly one of the easiest, but yet most profitable forms I saw for building this level of earnings through affiliate marketing.

But what is included in this product? Affilo Blueprint is a 12 week course with over 50 video lessons. Starting out with how to find a successful niche and market research, you’re taken through taking the right keywords, building blog posts, setting up an affiliate site, SEO, building newsletters, statistics and troubleshooting (this lesson is excellent!), and pay per click. So as you can see, very comprehensive!

The only drawback with this course is that, with so many information included, you could be tempted to skip lessons. Don’t do it! Everything in this course is there for a reason, and if you follow it step-by-step, you will almost certainly be in a position to create a profitable affiliate site.

With AffiloBlueprint also comes a custom made WordPress template, so if you haven’t made a niche site before, you can just use a template made by affiliate marketing experts to create your web site. To make this product as much newbie-proof as possible Mark Ling has gone through a lot of trouble, that’s for sure. Everything is really clearly explained and you don’t need to have any knowledge, so if you haven’t built any site before, this course is for you. However if you already have built sites and have some knowledge with affiliate marketing, you can still find the organized structure of AffiloBlueprint informative. This could be what you are looking for to build up your earnings or fix your under-performing websites.

All in all, I highly recommend AffiloBlueprint as one of the best affiliate training products I have seen. The Affilorama team and Mark Ling are only open the doors for one week so they can offer great customer support.
